Goals :
– Recognize the child in critical condition.
– Discuss the etiology of the child’s cardiac respiratory arrest – Perform basic cardiovascular resuscitation (BLS).
– Manage airway and ventilation.
– Identify the ways of administering medication during cardiac arrest.
– Understanding and administering drugs used in the treatment of cardiac arrest.
– Perform cardiac monitoring, ECG and rhythm recognition.
– Apply the paediatric advanced life support algorithm.
– Optimize the management of cardiac arrest in a team according to the ABCDE procedure.
– Taking care of a traumatized child.
– Identify cardiac arrest in particular circumstances – Stabilize the child’s condition in the post-reanimation period and during transport.
-Performing CPR of the newborn.
– Make decisions based on the ethical aspects of CPR.
